Our story began in 1906, when J.T. Thorpe & Son, Inc. was founded in San Francisco to help rebuild the city after the devastation of the Great San Francisco Earthquake. Just two years later, we completed our first major industrial installation for Standard Oil in Richmond, California. From those early days, we’ve grown into one of the largest and most respected specialty contractors in the United States, serving a wide range of industries and delivering projects of every size and complexity.
